Gerber South Campsite

Gerber South Campsite is a primitive BLM-managed campground located on Gerber Reservoir near Bonanza, Oregon, at an elevation of 4,800 feet. The campground features 50 individual gravel sites with picnic tables, fire rings, and tent pads. Amenities include vault toilets, seasonal potable water from hand pumps, and a boat ramp for lake access. There are no electrical, water, or sewer hookups at individual sites. The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. During peak season (mid-May to mid-September), a small fee is charged and services including trash collection and a camp host are provided. During off-season, camping is free but amenities are limited. Maximum vehicle length is 30 feet. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed. Recreational activities include fishing, boating, hiking, horseback riding, and cycling.
