Gerber South Campsite

Gerber South Campsite is one of the developed campgrounds in the Gerber Recreation Area managed by the Bureau of Land Management, located on Gerber Reservoir in southern Oregon. It offers primitive camping with vault toilets, seasonal drinking water, picnic tables, fire rings, and tent pads at individual sites. The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. During peak season (mid-May to mid-September), services like maintained restrooms, trash collection, and a camp host are available, along with a small camping fee. From October 1 to mid-May, it enters off-season with no amenities provided (no drinking water, trash, or camp host) and camping is free. Additional Info: - Approximately 50 sites across North and South areas, gravel pads suitable for tents and RVs up to 30 feet. - Pets allowed on leash. - No hookups (electric, water, sewer). - Nearby boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, and day-use areas.
