Gerber South Campsite
About this site
Gerber South Campsite is one of the developed campgrounds in the Gerber Recreation Area on Gerber Reservoir in southern Oregon, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. It offers primitive camping with picnic tables and fire rings at individual sites. Vault toilets and seasonal drinking water are available. The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis. A small fee applies during peak season (mid-May to mid-September) when full services including trash collection and camp host are provided; off-season camping (starting October 1) is free with no amenities. Additional Info: - Approximately 50 sites across North and South areas, suitable for tents and RVs up to 30 feet. - Pets allowed on leash. - No hookups; self-contained RVs recommended. - Nearby boat ramps, fishing, and day-use areas.
