The campground consists of a charming trail camp in the middle of what was once an apple orchard. The group area has a maximum capacity of 200 people. Overnight fees ($20 for most sites) and registration procedures are posted at the information kiosk. Camping is limited to a 15-day maximum stay. One camping unit and six people are allowed per site. There is boat ramp access located within the trail camp on Garey Lake. Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No reservations. Additional Info: Located 8 miles southeast of Empire via M-72, Plowman Road and Pettengill Road. Maintained with the help of the Michigan Trail Riders Association.
