Game Warden Slough
About this site
Operated by West Central Texas Municipal Water District, this campground doubles as a public park area on the north end of the dam. It's a 27-acre facility for picnicking, fishing, swimming, and primitive camping. There is a restroom facility, picnic tables, trash cans. ATV's and other off-road vehicles are not allowed in the park.

This is a great Boondocking campground. Most sites are not level. They have some trees along the shoreline of the lake that you can camp under or close to. They have large open fields where you can have large group gatherings, and set up cancer campers. They have a swimming area and restrooms and pavilion.
