Galbraith Lake Campground is the only campground along the Dalton Highway situated north of the Brooks Range. The tundra environment affords stunning views of the Brooks Range and the north slope. Additional Info: This BLM-managed campground has 12 designated pull-through campsites on open tundra. Amenities include one vault toilet, bear-proof food storage lockers, trash receptacles, campfire rings, and picnic tables at each site. Flowing water from a nearby creek must be filtered or treated. No potable water, electricity, or dump station. Open approximately May through September on a first-come, first-served basis. No firewood available due to tundra environment.
