Gafvert Campground
About this site
Gafvert Campground and Day-Use Area is located in Nemadji State Forest, managed by Moose Lake State Park. The eight campsites are primitive, each with a cleared area, fire ring, and picnic table. Vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. The site includes water access, fishing, boat landing/dock, one picnic site, 3 miles of nature trails, and is adjacent to Pickerel Lake and the Willard Munger ATV Trail. All sites are first come, first served with payment on site. Winter roads are not plowed; spring and fall road conditions vary. Additional Info: Amenities include campfire rings, picnic tables, potable drinking water, and vault toilets. Pets are allowed. No showers, electric, water, or sewer hookups.
