Frye Lake Campground has 15 dispersed campsites on the shores of a scenic mountain lake located off of FS Road 300, better known as the Loop Road. Amenities include a vault toilet, picnic tables, fire rings/grills, bear boxes, and ample parking. Food and bear attractants must be stored in accord with the Shoshone tiol Forest Food Storage Order. The stay limit is 16 days, and there is no cell service. Additional Info: Frye Lake Dispersed Camping is in Shoshone National Forest near Lander, WY, along Louis Lake Road (FR 300). $5 nightly fee. Basic facilities include fire rings and outhouse. 16-day stay limit. No cell coverage. Bears present; follow food storage orders. Pack in/pack out.
