Fry Peninsula Recreation Site
About this site
There are three sections for camping in the site: a single unit near the FSR, a large open area adjacent to the lake, and another campsite further down the road. Caution: the lake level can rise suddenly without warning! This site is located along the Sayward Forest Canoe Route. Additional Info: Fry Peninsula is a free, first-come-first-served recreation site with approximately 7 campsites total. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, pit toilets, and beach access. A gravel boat launch is available. The site is popular for fishing, particularly for Cutthroat Trout. The site typically fills during summer months and is best visited during off-season for guaranteed availability.
