Fred Hayes State Park at Starvation (formerly Starvation State Park) features two main camping areas: Beach Campground on a white sand beach and Mountain View Campground on a bluff overlooking the 3,495-acre Starvation Reservoir, suitable for fishing, water skiing, and swimming. Sites include concrete pads, picnic tables, gazebos/shade shelters, fire rings, flush toilets, hot showers, drinking water, dump station, store (weekends), and trash service. Many sites offer full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water, sewer in select sites). Boat dock and launch available. Located 4 miles northwest of Duchesne on US-40 at 5,700 feet elevation.
