Frank Valley Group Horse Campground
About this site
Frank Valley Group Horse Campground is a dedicated equestrian group camping facility in Mount Tamalpais State Park, located on Muir Woods Road approximately one mile north of Highway 1 at Muir Beach. It provides picnic tables, fire rings, drinking water, pit toilets, horse watering troughs, and 12 pipe corrals for groups with 2-12 horses and up to 25 people. Reservations are required year-round through Reserve California. Additional Info: Accessible campsites and parking available. Trails access includes Coast View, Redwood Creek, Heather Cutoff, Miwok, Dias Spur, and Dias Ridge, connecting to a 200-mile network.
