Designated dispersed camping site along Forest Road 62 (Hyalite Canyon Road) in the lower Hyalite Creek area of Custer Gallatin National Forest's Hyalite Recreation Area. First-come, first-served. Camping is restricted to designated and signed campsites only; no dispersed camping elsewhere along the road or creek corridor. Campfires must be contained in permanent metal fire rings at established sites. Hyalite Canyon Road closed to motorized vehicles April 1 through May 16 annually.
