About this site
Designated dispersed camping site along Forest Road 62 (East Fork Hyalite Creek Road) in the Hyalite Recreation Area of Custer Gallatin National Forest. First-come, first-served. Dispersed camping restricted to designated sites marked with carsonite signs showing tent symbols within ½ mile of the main Hyalite road and East Fork road. Campfires must be contained in permanent metal fire rings at established sites. Food must be secured in bear-proof manner per food storage order. Follow Leave No Trace principles.
