Fort Worden State Park Campground

Fort Worden State Park is a 432-acre historic state park located on the Port Townsend peninsula with over 2 miles of saltwater shoreline overlooking Admiralty Inlet (the entrance to Puget Sound). The park features 80 campsites across two campgrounds: Beach Campground (50 full hookup sites) and Upper Forest Campground (30 partial hookup sites with water and electricity). Both campgrounds have restrooms with flush toilets and showers. Campsites accommodate tents, trailers, and RVs up to 75 feet, with each site featuring a table, fire ring, and grill. Additional amenities include a dump station, picnic areas, visitor center, and full-service conference center. The park offers historic military and maritime buildings, century-old officer's housing, and various lodging options. Recreation includes hiking, biking, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, crabbing, scuba diving, swimming, and wildlife viewing. The park is pet-friendly and features two boat launches along the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
