Fort Sherman Dam Road runs through a small peninsula at the north-east side of Lake Bob Sandlin. The road provides access to the offices of Titus County Fresh Water Supply District #1. But it also provides access to several campsites along the water's edge. There are picnic tables, restroom facilities, boat ramp, and trash cans, Additional Info: Free primitive dry camping with lake access for fishing, swimming, and boating. Flush restrooms, picnic tables, small fire pits, trash service, and boat ramps available. Suitable for RVs up to approximately 38 feet. Gates close 11pm-4am. No hookups, showers, or drinking water.
