Fort Ebey State Park Campground
About this site
Fort Ebey State Park Campground is a 651-acre camping park on the western shore of Whidbey Island, overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Originally constructed as a coastal defense installation during World War II, the park preserves concrete gun battery platforms and underground bunkers. The campground offers 50 sites including 39 standard sites and 11 partial-hookup sites with electricity and water, plus one water trail campsite for human-powered watercraft. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings. Amenities include flush toilets, hot showers, and drinking water during the operating season (typically March 1 - October 31). Reservations are required. A Discover Pass is needed for vehicle entry. Navy jets from nearby Naval Air Station Whidbey Island may cause periodic noise.
