About this site

Fork Island is a state-owned island in Lake George with 12 campsites, located just north of Big Burnt Island at the northeastern end of the Narrows. Water depth around the island varies from 2.5 to 4 feet. Campsites 1, 4, and 7 do not have platforms. All sites are accessible by boat only and include a dock, picnic table, fireplace, and toilet. Additional Info: Part of the Glen Island Group managed by New York State Parks. Reservations required via ReserveAmerica.
