Located approximately 9 miles from Highway 260 Forest Road 9354 camp area provides a peaceful forested camping experience close to Bear Canyon Lake. This is a designated dispersed camping area. Camping allowed only within designated, numbered sites. When the forest is in fire restrictions NO FIRES are allowed at this location. This camp area is fee free and as such it is a pack-it-in, pack-it-out area. Be a good steward of your public lands and help us keep this area FREE by packing out everything your bring in with you. Additional Info: Forest Road 9354 is one of several designated dispersed camping areas within the Rim Lakes Recreation Area. Campsites are well spaced along this 1.5 mile road and offer semi-secluded family camping in a mixed conifer forest. This area is home to an abundance of wildlife including Bear, Mountain Lion, Elk, Deer, and a myriad of smaller fauna. This is a fee free area and as such offers no amenities beyond a beautiful environment. Each visitor is responsible for their own trash. This is a Pack-it-in, Pack-it-out area. The Carr Lake Trail System passes near this camp area as does the General Crook National Historic Trail. Trout fishing is available at nearby Bear Canyon Lake.
