Forest Road 217A Hunters Camp
About this site
This hunters camp is open for anyone to camp in, even though it was originally intentioned for game hunters. It has no amenities, not even trash cans. It's also a popular place for local horseback riders, so expect to see horse droppings on the ground. During hunting season, this campground gets packed. Additional Info: Dispersed camping area accessed via 3/4 mile dirt road off Forest Road 217A. Several large level sites suitable for full-sized RVs, with options for sun or shade. No designated sites. Undeveloped with mowed grass and Forest Service sign.
