Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area

Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area is a BLM-managed campground located approximately 35 miles north of Kemmerer, Wyoming and 10 miles south of La Barge, offering 55 campsites for camping, boating, and fishing. The facility features paved access roads, covered picnic tables with metal shade structures, barbecue grills, fire rings, potable water spigots at various locations, two handicap accessible campsites, three flush toilets and three vault toilets (two handicap accessible), a fully functional boat ramp, boat dock, trailer dump station, and a fenced-in firewood area. Campsites are situated on the west side of Fontenelle Reservoir with open high-desert terrain and scattered vegetation. The campground is open year-round on a first-come, first-served basis with a nightly fee of $7 per campsite.
