Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area

Fontenelle Creek Recreation Area is a BLM-managed campground located approximately 35 miles north of Kemmerer, Wyoming and 10 miles south of La Barge, Wyoming, on the west side of Fontenelle Reservoir. The facility offers 55 campsites with paved access roads, covered picnic tables, and barbecue grills. Amenities include potable drinking water, three vault toilets, three flush toilets, two handicap-accessible campsites, handicap-accessible restroom facilities, a trailer dump station ($3 fee), a fully functional boat ramp, boat dock, and a fenced-in firewood area available for purchase. Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis at $7 per night. The recreation area is popular for camping, boating, and fishing, with no electrical, water, or sewer hookups available at individual sites. Pets are welcome but must remain leashed.
