Flowing Springs Dispersed offers free dispersed camping along the East Verde River in Tonto National Forest, 3.5 miles north of Payson, AZ. Access via Forest Road 272 off Hwy 87 near mile marker 257. A vault toilet is available, but there are no designated campsites, drinking water, or other amenities. Popular for trout fishing, picnicking, and nearby hiking. First-come, first-served with no fees or reservations required.
