Floating Battery Island is part of the Narrow Island Group (also known as Mother Bunch Group), a collection of state-owned islands in northern Lake George offering 15-16 boat-access-only shoreline campsites. Each site features a dock for one boat, fireplace, picnic table, and toilet facility. Access is by boat from nearby private marinas; check-in at Narrow Island headquarters. Popular for boating, fishing, and hiking in the Adirondack Park. Reservations via ReserveAmerica; operates May 15 to October 12.
