Situated in open, tall timber, this campground is popular for family camping, in that it is near a fishing and swimming pond (Five Mile Pond), has a creek flowing by the site, and has easy access to Crooked River. Fire rings with camp sites grace the campground. Additional Info: Located at 4,480 feet elevation in Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests along Five Mile Creek. Open year-round but may not be accessible due to snow. Accessed via Crooked River Road #233.
