Fisher Towers Recreation Site is a small BLM campground with 5 tent-only sites available on a first-come, first-served basis. It offers stunning views of the Colorado River basin, Castle Rock, Castle Valley, and the Bookcliffs. The area features a 2.2-mile National Scenic Trail around the base of Fisher Towers, popular with experienced climbers. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings at each site. No water, hookups, showers, or RV access. Year-round access via gravel road; maximum stay 14 nights in 30 days. Additional Info: Located 22 miles east of Hwy 191/128 junction along the Colorado River, then 2.2 miles up Fisher Towers Road. Pets allowed. Excellent stargazing.
