Fisher Grove State Park

Fisher Grove State Park offers 22 electrical campsites along the James River near Frankfort, South Dakota. The park features 50/30/20-amp electrical hookups at each site, accommodating RVs up to 75 feet. Amenities include restroom facilities, picnic areas, a playground, fishing areas, and a dump station. The park is open year-round, though showers and flush toilets may be closed between October 1 and April 30. A historic site, the park is named after Frank I. Fisher, the first permanent European settler in Spink County, and encompasses a historic river crossing once used by Native Americans and the Watertown-to-Pierre stage line. The adjacent Fisher Grove Country Club operates a ten-hole golf course. Visitors can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and cross-country skiing.
