Fish Creek Campground and Trailhead

Located 2.5 miles west of Scofield Reservoir is the primitive campground of Fish Creek. This campground is a small remote horse friendly campground with 8 sites and an elevation is 7,720 feet. The site is in an open area with partial shade. You will find parking for horse trailers as well as parking for the Fish Creek National Recreation Trail which begins on site. Fish Creek Campground is adjacent to Fish Creek with provides opportunity for stream fishing or you can travel to nearby Scofield Reservoir for lake fishing. Additional Info: Six single-family sites at $7/night per site. First-come, first-served. Amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire rings, and horse corral. No potable water or garbage service; pack it in, pack it out. Pets must be leashed.
