Fintry Provincial Park

Fintry Provincial Park and Protected Area, also known as Fintry Estate, is a provincial park located in the town of Fintry, British Columbia, Canada. It is situated approximately 34 km (21 mi) north of Kelowna and 49 km (30 mi) south of Vernon on the westside of the Okanagan Lake. The campground is situated on a flat delta which is perfect for young families and seniors to enjoy walking, biking and rollerblading. Campsites are located in close proximity to the lake and includes a nearby dock. With almost two kilometres of waterfront property, the park has opportunities for camping, swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and wildlife viewing. A short hike up the stairway takes you to the spectacular Shorts Creek waterfalls, which peak in the spring. The park features 101 campsites, many of which are long (90+ foot) sites that can accommodate very large RVs and trailers. Most sites are reservable during peak season (mid-May through early September) and first-come first-served during the rest of the open season (early April through mid-October). Additional Info: Park size: 361 hectares. Protected area: 523 hectares. Amenities include flush toilets, showers, water on site, RV sites, tent sites, biking, hiking, fishing, swimming, and dog-friendly areas. Firewood and ice are available for sale. Access is also possible by boat: 6 km across Okanagan Lake from Ellison Provincial Park and 6 km from Kopje Regional District Park.
