Designated backcountry campsite 9D1 along the Ferris Fork in Yellowstone National Park's Bechler region. Accessed via a 15-mile hike from Bechler trailhead at the end of Cave Falls Road. Features proximity to thermal areas like Mister Bubbles hot spring and swimming hole. Part of the Bechler River Trail system with nearby falls including Dunanda Falls and Three Rivers Junction. Additional Info: Requires Yellowstone backcountry permit reserved through Recreation.gov or Backcountry Office. Backpacker-only access; no vehicle access. Food storage via provided poles or bear boxes mandatory.
