Fernview Group Campground
About this site
Fernview Group Campground is a group site in Willamette National Forest perched on a bench above the South Santiam River at 1,360 feet elevation, 22 miles east of Sweet Home on Highway 20. Originally a standard campground, it has been converted to a group area with 11 sites (2 tent-only), capacity for 75 people, some accommodating trailers/RVs up to 22 feet. Amenities include one hand pump for drinking water, one accessible vault toilet, picnic tables, and firepits at each site. Nearby attractions include Rooster Rock Trail across the highway, Menagerie Wilderness, Iron Mountain wildflowers, Santiam Wagon Road, and lakes within a short drive.
