Fern Lake Campsite is a designated backcountry site in Rocky Mountain National Park accessible only by hiking the Fern Lake Trail. It offers one site at 9,530 ft elevation near the lake. Camp safely away from standing dead trees, as near as possible to the silver metal arrowhead marker. Additional Info: Backcountry sites require advance reservations through the park and are subject to permits. The site is along the Fern Lake Trail which provides access to Spruce Lake and Odessa Lake.
