Federated Women's Club State Forest
About this site
Federated Women's Club State Forest offers primitive camping with 15 first-come, first-served campsites. The forest spans more than 1,000 acres of pine, maple, birch, and hemlock trees in the Quabbin Reservoir watershed. Notable features include scenic views along Fever Brook and The Gorge geological formation in the southwest section. Before camping, contact park staff at Erving State Forest at (978) 544-3939. Activities include hiking, cross-country skiing, fishing, and restricted hunting. No alcohol, littering, or pets allowed on DCR Watershed Property.
