Farnsworth Campground

Farnsworth Campground is a primitive tent-only campground located near the Maumee River in Whitehouse, Ohio, part of the Toledo Metroparks system. The campground features two individual walk-in tent sites and one group site, with flat terrain and wooded areas. Amenities include fire rings, drinking water, and picnic tables. The region experiences temperatures ranging from the 20s in winter to the 80s in summer. Nearby attractions include the Toledo Zoo and the Toledo Museum of Art. Reservations are required 24 hours in advance via phone (419-407-9700) or online. Individual sites rent for $20 per night and group sites for $30 per night. Day camping is available November through April, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
