Fairy Lake Campground offers 9 first-come, first-served sites in Custer Gallatin National Forest at 7,500-7,680 feet elevation. Accessible via steep 5-mile gravel Fairy Lake Road (high clearance recommended, slippery when wet, not suitable for RVs/trailers). Amenities include vault toilets, drinking water, picnic tables, and fire rings. Pack-in/pack-out (no trash service). No firewood available. 16-day limit. Open mid-June to early December, weather dependent. Additional Info: Mountain goats frequently seen. Fishing in lake (no motorboats). Trail to Sacajawea Peak.
