Fairy Lake Campground offers 9 first-come, first-served sites with no fees in Custer Gallatin National Forest. Amenities include vault toilets, hand-pumped drinking water, fire pits, and picnic tables during the operating season (typically mid-June to early December, weather dependent). Access is via a steep 5-mile gravel Fairy Lake Road, not suitable for RVs, trailers, or low-clearance vehicles; high-clearance recommended. Pack-in/pack-out, no trash service or firewood. 16-day limit. Elevation 7,500-7,680 feet. Near Fairy Lake for fishing and hiking.
