Eric Lake

Eric Lake Campground is located in Cape Scott Provincial Park at the north tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. The campground is set in dense coastal rainforest near the lakeshore, 3km (1 hour hike) from the trailhead parking lot. There are 11 wooden tent pads connected by boardwalk paths. The campsite is available on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations. Amenities include an outhouse, food lockers, a metal fire pit, and water available from a stream running through the campground or from Eric Lake. A short trail leads to a gravel beach on the lakeshore. The campground serves as a good stopping point for hikers heading to Cape Scott Lighthouse or San Josef Bay.
