Hike or bike in only. Approximately a 2 mile hike past a washout in the road. Campground is not maintained and has no infrastructure. Additional Info: Former USFS developed campground in Olympic National Forest converted to dispersed camping after being cut off by a road washout in 2003. Located along the scenic Dosewallips River in a lush Pacific Northwest forest setting. Free, first-come-first-served camping with vault toilets and fire rings. Picnic tables available. No potable water. Peaceful backcountry experience surrounded by second-growth forest with moss-covered trees characteristic of Olympic rainforest valleys.
