Elk Neck State Park

Elk Neck State Park is located on a peninsula surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay and the Elk River in Cecil County, Maryland. The park offers over 250 campsites, mini cabins, and rustic cabins. All campsites are equipped with a fire ring with grill on top, picnic table, and lantern post. Each camping loop has a central bathhouse with hot running water for showers. The park features 6 miles of trails, a boat launch, unguarded swimming area, Nature Center, and Park Store. Visitors enjoy hiking to the Turkey Point Lighthouse, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, hunting, picnicking, and camping. Generator operation is prohibited during quiet hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.). For reservations, call 1-888-432-2267 or visit parkreservations.maryland.gov.
