Elbow Lake Backcountry Campsites are part of the Timber-Frear Canoe Route in Superior National Forest. Site 2 is one of four backcountry sites accessible only by paddling and portaging from Whitefish Lake or Finger Lake carry down accesses. Restrooms and potable water are not available at the sites. Parking is at Whitefish Lake Rustic Campground. Additional Info: Four primitive sites on the lake, no vehicle access.
