El Chorro Regional Park Campground features 61 campsites located 4 miles northwest of San Luis Obispo on State Highway 1 at Dairy Creek. The campground offers 43 full-hookup sites with electricity, sewer, and water, plus 18 primitive sites with water spigots nearby. Sites accommodate 6-8 people and can fit tents or full-sized RVs up to 40 feet, with several pull-through options available. Amenities include restrooms with coin-operated showers, picnic tables, fire rings, and ADA-accessible facilities. The park also features a playground, dog park, botanical garden, golf course, and group day-use areas. Activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and boating. Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
