Backcountry campsite in Banff National Park located in the Egypt Lake area below rugged alpine peaks. The campground features a cooking area and tenting area separated by a small rise, accessed via bridge over Pharaoh Creek. Situated in a glacial lake basin with meadows and alpine larch trees. Reservations required through Parks Canada.

Beautiful and highly sought after campsite, with bear lockers and picnic tables. Bugs were quite bad in mid July. Close to several epic hikes such as Scarab and Mummy Lakes and Pharaoh peak. Ideal would be to spend two nights at this camp and use it as a staging ground for these hikes.
