Edson Creek Campground
About this site
Edson Creek Campground features open meadow style camping located near a beautiful meandering creek that flows into the Sixes River. The campground provides 27 first-come, first-served campsites and 5 reservable group sites. Of the individual campsites, 16 are designated for RVs, trailers, and tents (including 2 double sites), 3 are for tents only, and 5 are wheelchair accessible sites. Campsites 20-24 are designated as accessible. The five group sites provide private camping areas for groups of up to 25 people each; four group sites (B-E) are located across the creek and accessible via a seasonal bridge during low-water periods (June through late September). The campground includes picnic tables, fire rings, and accessible toilets. Mature alder and myrtle trees flank the open meadow. The Sixes River is known for Chinook salmon and steelhead fishing. Poison oak is common in the area. Dogs must be on a leash.
