Edison Ferry Pickup

Edison Ferry Pickup is the designated pickup point at Mono Creek at the northeast end of Edison Lake for the Vermilion Valley Resort (VVR) ferry service, serving hikers on the John Muir Trail and Pacific Crest Trail. The ferry operates seasonally (typically summer months), with pickups at 9:45 AM and 3:45 PM from this location, transporting to VVR for $20 per person one way on a first-come, first-served basis (max 20 people per trip). Service does not operate in inclement weather. Hikers access this point via trail from locations including Muir Trail Ranch, Sallie Keyes Lakes, Heart Lake, and Selden Pass.
