About this site

Echo Lake is a semi-developed, dispersed camping area at the shoreline of Echo Lake near the Caribou Wilderness. A vault toilet is on site, as well as trash recepticals. Echo Lake is a popular place for kayaks and conoes. Be aware that this area was damaged in the 2021 Dixie Fire and hazards still exist. Additional Info: Echo Lake Campground is near Echo Lake and walking distance to the Caribou Wilderness. It is a dispersed campground. A maximum of 8 people per site is allowed. Potable water is not available at this site. Quiet hours are 10pm to 6am. Campfires allowed only in provided fire rings. 1 vehicle and 8 persons allowed in each campsite. Pets must remain on a leash or confined at all times. Site must be occupied each night after equipment is set up/left in a campsite. Fireworks and tiki torches prohibited. Dogs must remain on leash at all times. Elevation 6425'.
