Designated dispersed camping site 052 at the East Fork Hyalite Creek Trailhead, located at the end of Forest Road 3163 in Custer Gallatin National Forest's Hyalite Recreation Area. Provides access to East Fork Hyalite Creek Trail #434 past Horseshoe Falls to Heather and Emerald Lakes. Dispersed camping in Hyalite is restricted to designated and signed sites only. No restrooms or potable water available. Fires allowed in permanent metal fire rings. Follow Leave No Trace principles and food storage orders. Additional Info: Vehicle accessible parking area. Popular for hiking, fishing, and backcountry access. Road may have seasonal closures.
