Dispersed camping site #053 along Forest Road 3163 (East Fork Hyalite Creek Road) in Hyalite Canyon Recreation Area, Custer Gallatin National Forest. Dispersed camping is allowed at designated sites marked with carsonite tent symbols within ½ mile of the main Hyalite and East Fork roads, and many additional sites outside the restricted zone. No potable water or restrooms available at the trailhead/parking area. Follow Leave No Trace principles and food storage orders for bear safety. Additional Info: Trailhead at road end provides access to East Fork Hyalite Creek Trail past Horseshoe Falls to Heather and Emerald Lakes. Fires only in designated rings.
