Nestled alongside the tranquil East Boulder River, East Boulder campground offers a unique blend of accessibility and serenity in a pristine natural setting. Guests are welcome to arrive at any time and choose their preferred site, all at no cost. Enjoy unlimited access to local hiking trails and fishing spots, making it an ideal retreat for nature enthusiasts. Given its popularity among locals and visitors alike, arriving early is recommended to secure your perfect spot. The campground features 2 sites with vault toilets and fire pits. No drinking water or firewood provided. This is a pack-in/pack-out campground with no trash service. There is a 16-day stay limit. Open year-round depending on weather conditions; winter access may be limited by snow on East Boulder Road. Additional Info: Trailers up to 32 feet can be accommodated but RVs are not recommended. Located 19 miles south of Big Timber on US 298, then 6 miles east on East Boulder Road (County Road 205). Elevation: 5,650 feet.
