Early Settlers Campground
About this site
Early Settlers Campground is located in Vega State Park next to Vega Reservoir. It offers 33 campsites with electric and water hookups, paved parking spurs, shade structures, fire pits, grates, BBQ grills, and picnic tables. Amenities include drinking water, flush toilets, coin-operated showers, trash collection, and a dump station. The campground features back-in and pull-through RV sites as well as tent sites, with great views of the water from many sites. It is the only campground in the park with hookups and is open mid-May to mid-September, depending on snow conditions. Reservations are recommended as hookup sites fill quickly.
