Eagle Nest Lake State Park Campground

Eagle Nest Lake State Park Campground is a 19-site primitive campground located at approximately 8,300 feet elevation in the Moreno Valley near Eagle Nest, New Mexico, surrounded by the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The campground features vault toilets, centrally located potable water, fire rings, picnic tables, and shade structures at each site. Sites are available as pull-through or back-in configurations with lake views. The park provides access to a 2,400-acre reservoir known for fishing, boating, and canoeing. Amenities include a boat ramp, day-use areas for shoreline access, and opportunities for hiking, biking, and wildlife viewing. Campfires are permitted in provided grills and fire rings. Pets are allowed. The campground is reservable during peak season, with first-come-first-serve sites available in the off-season. Winter closures apply.
