Dugway Campground
About this site
Dugway Campground is a free Bureau of Land Management recreation site situated along the scenic North Platte River near Sinclair, Wyoming. This primitive camping area offers 5 individual campsites including 1 pull-through site and 4 spur sites, plus a group camping area. Amenities are basic but functional, including vault toilets, picnic tables at each site, fire rings with grills, parking spurs, and day-use parking areas. There are no hookups, potable water, or other modern conveniences. The campground operates on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservation system and a 14-day stay limit. Horses are not permitted in the campground. The location offers a true backcountry camping experience while remaining accessible via county road from Interstate 80. Flyfishing for trout and take-out for North Platte River paddlers are available. Additional Info: Open year-round. Good spot for spotting pronghorn, mule deer, rattlesnakes, and coyotes. Fish for rainbow and brown trout and walleye.
